Welcome To The Well

It all began with “the conversations”…

For the last two years, Christi, a licensed clinical therapist, and Hilary, an executive coach, have been having conversations with women everywhere that all started to sound the same:

  • “I’m so tired. Why am I so tired?”

  • “I’m burned out. I wish there was a place where I could just… rest.”

  • ”I’m doing so much work on myself in therapy and nobody knows. And once I’m done, I’m just… on my own.”

  • “I wish I could afford an exec coach - I need help.”

  • “It’s so hard to make friends as an adult! I want to find my tribe!”

  • “Why am I hearing the phrase ‘The Mental Load’ everywhere right now?”

  • “Why do I go zero to 60 when I’m frustrated? What is wrong with me?!”

  • “I’m grappling with all these hard things and I’m doing it by myself, it’s exhausting.”

Enter… The Well

The Well is a 3-day mountain retreat for women that focuses on wellness in all its forms: physical, mental and emotional. We’re building a community of women to support and encourage each other while doing the hard work of personal growth, with a lot of fun, movement, reflection, nature and deep conversation along the way. If this sounds like something you’ve been craving, read on…

Day 2

Our second day is focused on what’s hard: the mental load, managing stress and our own triggers. Rest assured, the day itself isn’t hard: we have small group time, breakouts, movement, journaling, dinner and guided meditation on tap to help us go deeper into our challenges and begin to develop new tools, together.

We’ll use our modalities to focus on self-love and self-compassion, tapping into the wisdom of a nutritionist and yoga teacher along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

    • Will there be organized transit to/from Denver International Airport?

      • Currently we don’t have a formal airport transit option, but we do commit to helping coordinate for those flying in, and helping to coordinate carpooling from Denver to minimize our eco impact. The drive from Denver International Airport to the cabin is about 2-2.5 hours pending traffic.

    • Can I fly into anywhere closer?

      • You can! Smaller carriers with more limited schedules fly into Eagle County Regional Airport in Gypsum, about 35 minutes away from the venue.

    • Will there be food I can eat with my vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free/dairy-free/allergy/other needs?

      • Yes! We are working with a chef who specializes in events and is used to meeting many dietary needs, and we’ll also have our intuitive eating nutritionist on hand all weekend.

    • What time should I plan to arrive and depart?

      • Our first official gathering is Thursday night dinner at 6pm, and we’ll plan to leave after breakfast on Sunday. Official timing and private details on venue and exact schedule will be available once you sign up! You can arrive and get settled earlier than our 6pm dinner time, of course.

    • How long will it take to get from Denver International Airport to Vail?

      • It’s approximately 2 hours from DIA to West Vail. We don’t anticipate ski season traffic by April, but if you know I-70 and Colorado, you know to give yourself a lot of breathing room. For those flying into Eagle County Regional Airport, the drive will be closer to 35 minutes.

    • What time should I schedule flights?

      • We recommend landing on Thursday morning to get to Vail by early afternoon and not planning to fly home until Sunday evening. Give yourself plenty of time to not stress and make it down the mountain in plenty of time.

    • Ok I’m in! Now shat should I pack?!

      • The goal for this weekend is comfort + stretch. Accordingly, please pack clothing that makes you feel comfortable and that you can move in! Our agenda is full of yoga, hiking, learning, journaling, coffee drinking, soaking, walking and dancing, so we recommend layers (Colorado mountain temps are variable, especially in the Spring) yoga pants, sturdy shoes for walking/hiking, slippers for around-the-housing, and a swimsuit or two. A full and complete packing list will be sent to participants a few weeks before the retreat.

    • Is there anything I definitely don’t need to pack?

      • What you bring is up to you, but we can definitively say that we’re not going anywhere fancy (or at all!) so you can leave heels, nice outfits, makeup and styling tools at home. This is a place to be at home and comfortable.

    • What if I’m just not sure about coming to The Well?

      • We’re here to help! Please click that yellow button over there 👈 and schedule a private call to address your questions.

    • Will there be another cohort in the future?

      • We hope so! That said, this is a pilot, so we don’t know! If you are interested in The Well and in all that this magical mountain weekend has to offer, consider this your sign to go for it.
